Triple Balance Soccer Academy

Has over 27 years of soccer experience and has dedicated his life to educating young people. His fun, responsive approach to teaching brings an added level of comfort and enthusiasm to parents and participants alike. Nigel started the Triple Balance Soccer Academy because he understands that a safe and inclusive environment is key to developing superior soccer skills and technique. Once those are in place, a player can enjoy a life of active living, competition and friendship that comes along with the game.

Has played soccer for over 32 years on competitive, collegiate and professional levels in Canada and the United States. He has now dedicated his skills to introducing young players to a game that has brought him so many valuable experiences. Courtenay's Ontario Soccer Association training includes the FUNdamentals of soccer, Active Start, Respect in Soccer and Soccer for Life and he has also obtained a US National E-Class accreditation. Courtenay started Triple Balance Soccer Academy because it is important to introduce proper technique as early as possible to ensure safety, increase the level of competitive play and boost the confidence of young players, which enhances their enjoyment of the game.

Triple Balance Soccer Academy was established to meet the need for a children’s soccer program in Ajax that teaches fundamentals. Our focus is on growth and skill development first with competitive play secondary.  The goal is to provide an affordable option for parents to foster the athlete in their child in a safe and friendly environment, with staff that are committed to all players and skill levels.   The objective is to introduce proper technique at the beginning to ensure safety and boost the confidence of young players.  Participants of Triple Balance Soccer Academy will be given the passion for sports to enjoy a life of active living, the opportunity to build lasting friendships and the chance to build team working skills that they will benefit from on the pitch and throughout their life.
